My First Product Is Out There

Ok well this week has seen the release of my first product…….drumroll please

I have written a book before on finding a new job and of course I have written article packs for release, but this is the first time I have put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard, and created an e-book about the heady topic of driving traffic.

It has been a steep learning curve, but a rewarding one. I now know how to make a sales page, setup an autoresponder series and create a download link. I think I am quite slow and what takes me 30 minutes would probably take someone that is more experienced about 2. But nonetheless I am learning on the technical side and I am moving forward.

The key thing I have learned from this release though is just to move forward. The night before my sales page went live I was absolutely agonising over everything and I just kept thinking there is more I need to do, it has to be perfect etc etc. Now while I’m sure there are a whole lot of things that I could have done better, I think the main thing is that I took action. Now I can rinse and repeat. Growing traffic for this product and also creating more products and getting them out there.

So if anyone else is teetering on the edge of writing that first product, I say go for it. Yes mistakes will be made but it is in the falling down that we learn, and wow I’ve learnt a lot.
