Want to Monetize Your Blog or Niche Website?

rss_gadgets1If you are anything like me you have set up your blog or niche website initially and gone all out on content – which can only be a good thing. You have traffic coming in and everything is ticking along nicely. Then a little later it dawns on you that it would be really nice to make some serious extra cash from all this traffic.

What is the easiest way to do this, which will also complement your traffic, and blend in seamlessly with the look and feel of your site?

The answer is RSS feeds from eBay, Amazon and Clickbank, which can be configured to exactly the types of items that your audience would be most interested in.

You can choose what types of ads to display based on keywords you’re targeting within your own niche market. You can use the feeds individually, altogether or in any combination.

Additionally, there are two feeds that are also keyword driven – Yahoo News and MS Live! These feeds add fresh, new content to your site that changes automatically so that spiders see continual change. All outbound links automatically use the “NoFollow” tag to avoid PR leakage as well!

If you’re getting traffic to your sites you need to convert them to sales - why not avoid the hassle and automatically offer up related products, news and links to keep their interest and make a few bucks as well?

1052483_one_gold_dollar_1What language are you fluent in…English, Spanish, Japanese, French, Italian, Chinese? It could be any one of hundreds of different languages. Maybe you speak more than one language. If so you are both gifted and lucky.

How would you like to learn another language? One that can change your life on many different levels. One that can give you freedom of choice in how to spend your time.

I know, you have probably heard this before from many, many ‘get rich quick’ schemes that you have seen on the internet. However, what these schemes do is to try and make out that you can go straight to France and start talking like a native with only three phrases under your belt, including ‘hello’, ‘thank you’ and ‘can you point the way to the nearest toilet please’. In other words, you are never going to be able to speak a language if you haven’t got the basics covered, and until you have spent some time learning vocabulary, honing your accent and really digging into the way the language is formed.

So, how does this all bring us back to money. Internet marketing, despite the rumours you may have heard to the contrary, is still one of the best ways of making a fantastic living online. It really does set people free to live the life of their dreams, whether that be paying off some debts, having more time to spend with your family, fabulous holidays and yes even that mansion in the country.

What it takes to be successful though is skill, knowledge and yes maybe even a little bit of time and work. Now, when I say work I don’t mean hard, hard work. I’m not asking you to go down a mine or work in a quarry after all. However, you may need to read, to listen and to implement some strategies. It’s certainly not rocket science and you can start from absolutely no previous experience or knowledge at all. All you have to take on board is that you will in fact have to ‘do’ in order to ‘succeed’. What I have learnt as I have started to explore IM is that it is much easier to sell to people who are actually looking for the product anyway and who also trust the site that they are making the purchase from – that might sound obvious – but Ebay, Amazon, Clickbank etc are all hugely establised trustworthy businesses and it is much easier to entice people to buy from them and this is particularly true for physical products.

This is great for me as I particularly enjoy affiliate marketing for physical products – as to me I enjoy the tangible aspect of it – I like that people are going to receive that item in the post and to be happy with it. Maybe that is largely because of some of the niches I enjoy expanding on – namely: collectibles, books, technology, toys etc. However, with almost everything under the sun available at either Amazon, Clickbank or Ebay you really don’t have to limit your niche options

There is nothing wrong with expanding to niches outside of your own experience and likes, but when you are very first starting out it is often worth exploring a niche that you will enjoy.
